Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy and how we use your data

Effective date: August 31, 2026. These terms may be updated as the service evolves.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of TrendEmber handles personal information when you visit the website, create an account, contact support, make a top-up, or use product features. It does not govern the independent practices of social platforms or other third parties.

2. Information we collect

We collect account details such as email address, profile name, authentication identifiers, settings, support messages, transaction references, usage-unit balances, and product activity. We also receive basic device, browser, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service. We do not store complete payment-card details.

3. Public-data queries

Queries may contain public usernames, URLs, keywords, hashtags, or other research inputs. We process these inputs and public results to perform requested searches, monitoring, analytics, exports, history, and billing. Do not submit private, sensitive, or unlawfully obtained personal data.

4. How and why we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts, deliver requested workflows, calculate usage, process payments, respond to support, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose faults, improve performance, and meet legal obligations. Depending on location, our legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal compliance.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We share only what is necessary with infrastructure, authentication, database, analytics, email, data-provider, and payment partners, including Supabase, Vercel, and Dodo Payments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention and security

We retain account and transaction records while needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Retention periods vary by data type. We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted service credentials, and monitoring, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. International processing and your rights

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours with appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and may withdraw consent where applicable. Some records must be retained by law.

8. Children, changes, and contact

TrendEmber is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We will post material policy changes here with a new effective date. Privacy questions and rights requests can be submitted through the Contact page; we may need to verify your identity before acting.
